Given the recent events in the Jersey shore line due to Hurricane Sandy, we’d like to share this engagement session taken by B Hull Photography at Bradley Beach just weeks before it was hit. We continue to pray for those impacted by the hurricane and hope that the natural beauty of this place will be restored.
Today’s groom David is quite the romantic type and we have a soft spot for guys who plan special surprises for their ladies. Mia was an architect student at RPI and had always wanted to visit Fallingwater (a house built by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright) since college. So David brought her there for a tour as part of her “birthday” present. He coordinated with the staff and their tour guide for the proposal, and they were able to accommodate his request for a special after-hours arrangement following the exclusive Sunset Tour. Under the pretense that this was Mia’s “birthday” gift, the tour guide granted them access to a part of the house off-limits to all tours and guests. It was actually the staircase leading down to the famous Bear Run waterfall that passes beneath the house, giving Fallingwater its name. There he got down on one knee and asked Mia to marry him.
For their first date, Dave took Mia to her first Boston Bruins game. They are big sports fans although not always cheering for the same team. Dave is a Red Sox fan while Mia is a Yankee fan.
Congrats on your engagement, Mia & David!
