Modern Tiaras for the Modern Princess

With the recent announcement of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement it seems that everyone has caught regal fever. As more details are revealed about the much anticipated affair, there is no doubt that this royal wedding will inspire brides all over the world. The exciting news inspired me to take a look back at some of the royal wedding fashion of years gone by.

In addition to their lavish gowns with trains that go on for miles, these royal beauties pile on even more glamour… atop their heads. Lets just say that they have got diamonds for days! For those of us who aren’t real princesses (although we may act like we are from time to time) there are plenty of modern versions of the tiara that add the sparkle and shine sans the stuffiness and the royal price tag.
