We’re so honored to have incredible photographer, Nicole Lapierre, share with us a styled engagement session that she captured at Ginny Au’s Loom Curated workshop. It’s inspiring how Ginny teaches photographers to not be intrusive, but to allow a couple to find their own rhythm. I love this approach to photography. Every couple is complex, unique and has a beautiful story waiting to be told. So it’s a photographers mission to discover that story. She shares “The principle of Loom is to restrict their direction and push them to use their cameras as a tool that forces them to preserve moments as they naturally progress.” Thus in return allows the couple to be intimate and the permission to express themselves in a way that comes natural to them. And what is the end result? A story that’s emotional and authentically them. Yes. Yes. And YES!
