With Christmas only 6 days away we can’t help but get excited! We love Christmas. It’s a time to really get away from work. A time to be in the moment with the ones we hold dear to our hearts. A time to get offline, have real conversations over home cooked meals instead of tweeting or instagramming each other.  We hope that you take some time off from wedding planning too, to celebrate this season with your fiance and show them how much you love them not only with your presents but with your presence. Use this precious time wisely.

One color that comes to mind during this season is of course, red. Everyone tends to associate red as the color for love, but I think it’s for the STRENGTH and COURAGE TO LOVE. So when Jennifer Fujikawa sent us these images from a style shoot the she photographed, we couldn’t take our eyes off the bride’s red lips. Such a bold color against the soft white and vintage, lace gown that makes you take notice. “Red lipstick is a source of strength,” says Poppy King, creator of Lipstick Queen. “You put it on and suddenly you feel more capable than you did without it.” So we say yes to red lipstick! Ladies, let it be known that you’re incredibly bold and unafraid TO LOVE and BE LOVED.
