“Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on simplicity.”

From planner and designer Cate of Dancing & Dessert, “I wanted the images to combine a simple and raw modern aesthetic with the natural beauty and bohemian grace of nature.
The inspiration for this shoot came from my own experience of living in Brooklyn during the Summer, of watching this cement covered land tempered by lush greenery. My Moon Restaurant was the perfect backdrop, combining, so effortlessly, these characteristics.”

The palette for this shoot was extremely minimal, white, green and gold, although was anything but bland as we mixed in a combination of textures to create depth and interest.
The focal point was the fringed chandelier, dripping with white buds and greenery, hanging above the table in place of a centerpiece. It added harmonious movement whilst keeping the table clutter free.

The details in this luxurious hand cut and embroidered linen lace from Rue de Seine has got to be our favorite.
