I’m not much of a fancy hair girl. The extent of my hairstyle is either down or in a ponytail. But lately, I’ve been obsessed with these DIY hair tutorials that show step by step on how to do a pretty updo. And I just HAVE to share it with you! This past Wednesday, Utterly Engaged got to be at Flawless Faces 3rd Birthday Party to represent (we had so much fun! but more on that later). So I referred to this hair tutorial by the beauty department (great site btw!) to do my hair and I was surprised at how easy it was! The only thing I didn’t have was hairspray (I know, what kind of girl am I not to have hairspray in my possession). With the event being outdoors by the beach and it was a windy evening, it didn’t hold up. But I’m sure if I had put more pins plus a dose of hairspray, I think it would have held up just fine.

So if you’re going on a date night or rehearsal dinner and you don’t have time to get a blowout, you might want to give this ‘do a try.
