Oh my goodness, Sara! How adorable! Thanks for sharing!

I know there were pre-made mixes for favors, but this is an adorable way to DIY for cappuccino favors - especially pumpkin spice - which is perfect for the season!

This is wonderful. I am wanting to start a women’s ministry at our church and this is a neat favor for our first meeting. Thanks!

Does “chocolate drink mix” mean hot chocolate powder?

Lori Addison

Thank u so much! My daughter had a drink like this from a convenience store and fell in love, but they ran out and I have been searching high and low for a mix and couldnt find one anywhere! U have made us very happy!

Joni

Great idea! What size containers did you use and any suggestions where to get them?

Sharon

I made this mix and, unlike other recipes I’ve made, this contains very little sweetness. I would note this if giving as a gift. I hesitate to add more Nesquick, as that only adds more chocolate thus making it more mocha than pumpkin spice. I’m going to add an extrafine Baker’s sugar or powdered sugar for sweetness. Personally, I think it could use a little cardamom. Some powdered milk for creaminess? Just thoughts.

Sharon

Yes, that did the trick. But I needed to add more coffee granules and Nesquick because I had increased the overall volume by the addition of powdered milk, sugars (I added both) and cardamom. The milk improved its overall texture.

Sharon

Oops! Also added more pumpkin spice, again, because of the overall volume was increased.

Kathy

Is it tablespoon measures of the spices to just 1 3/4 cup of the other ingredients? It sounds like a lot in ratio. Just want to be sure.
