The vision of gracious-living guru Wanda Wen, A Soolip Wedding has established notoriety as one of the wedding industry’s most prolific events and is essential for soon-to-be-wed couples, wedding planners or anyone looking for inspired event resources.  The 2013 celebration decorously themed “Crystal Showers, Eternal Flowers” will feature a well-edited pool of L.A.’s most prestigious brands and secret gems, all from which create the most stylishly-inspired yet personal wedding.

This gathering of more than 60 curated resources will feature distinguished wedding vendors and artisanal amenities. Highlights include dazzling pieces from America’s most established jeweler, Black, Starr & Frost, and a fashion showing of avant-garde bridal couture line, St. Pucchi. Sharing a similar aesthetic, the highly sought-after stationer, Soolip Paperie and Press, will showcase their au-courant paper and invitation delicacies.

The coastal setting of the Bel Air Bay Club in Los Angeles will be further showered with the established collection of wedding and event experts to appease all the senses, including the elegant and alluring grounds of Hotel Bel Air, Beverly Hills Hotel and Warner Brothers Special Events. Palates will be tempted by the tantalizing culinary delights of Good Gracious! Events and for the sweet-tooth the renowned Charm City Cakes. The dendritic scents and sights of the flowers from Mille Fiori will mesmerize the crowd, as will the sounds of the talented entertainers from Elan Artists.  The respected abilities of David Pressman Events and the design house of Rrivre Works will lend a personal touch to tailoring this March event not to be missed.  To ensure the momentous occasion is unforgettable, directors of documentation Film Foto Fusion will be onsite capturing the eye candy, along with photographers Scott Clark and Next Exit.

With the innovative artistry of each year’s unique collection of partners, Soolip Founder Wanda Wen will evoke a theme of “Crystal Showers, Eternal Flowers” for A Soolip Wedding 2013 to convey an elevated art of matrimony and summoned perpetual bliss. According to Wen, “A wedding is a celebration of unconditional love and discovery of pure, untouched beauty that encapsulates life’s most precious moments in one occasion, yet is destined to generate an eternity of meaningful experiences to come.”  To capture this emotional essence in a simple yet seductive form, Wen drew inspiration from a vision she created for a ceremony in the Dolomite Mountains of Italy where natural, unpolished crystals dripped from an elliptical chandelier hovering above the betrothed couple as they exchanged vows.  “Raw crystals possess a natural and untouched beauty that is simple yet profound,” states Wen. “These mesmerizing stones also contain positive energy that are most powerful in its raw, unaltered form. Wrapping the untouched crystal with gold wire harnesses the love and joy resonating from all those in attendance, while the effect of suspending the stones in mid-air resembles a shower of pure, refined allure.” The symbolic imagery of suspended raw crystals wrapped in gold wire will be showered throughout the 2013 fete.

Some of you are probably familiar with Eugenia Chung (Genie) from Petit Plume, and it’s no secret that we’re a big fan of her hair accessories! What you may not know is that she’s also an amazing make-up artist! We’re so excited when she shared with us that she and Elaine Suh will be partnering up their hair and makeup companies to form e2beauty hair and makeup team! E2beauty specializes in hair and makeup design for weddings and special occasions. As experienced hair and makeup artists, Elaine and Genie strive to meet each person’s individual style and needs. They also bring their own expertise to a growing team of skilled artists. Joining this team are Mindy Lee and Rika Chung, who have been integral in the launch of this team.

The team will be celebrating the launch of their new company this Sunday, January 27, 2pm-5pm, at Studio EMP, 112 W.
